PS2 Games Now Available on PS4

Bring back that nostalgic feeling.

Sony is finally giving fans of PlayStation 2 classics the opportunity to play them on the PlayStation 4. The games will be available through the PS2-on-PS4 catalog. Unfortunately, even if you own the PS2 discs, you can’t use them in any form to get the games free on PS4. You have to rebuy them (I’m having flashbacks to the infamous “convert your UMDs to digital” lie of the PSP Go era).     Currently there are more than forty PS2 games available to purchase for PS4. This number will likely grow as more games will probably be added.   The PS2 games featured have been updated with Trophy support, upscaled to 1080p, and use the latest PS4 features (like Remote Play for example).   Here’s the complete list so far:   ADK Damashii Ape Escape 2 Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits Bully Dark Cloud Dark Cloud 2 Destroy All Humans Destroy All Humans 2 FantaVision Fatal Fury Battle Archives Vol. 2 Fu’Un Super Combo Grand Theft Auto III Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition Hot Shots Tennis Indigo Prophecy Kinectica Manhunt Max Payne Metal Slug Anthology Okage: Shadow King PaRappa The Rapper 2 Primal Psychonauts Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords Red Dead Revolver Red Faction Rise of the Kasai Rogue Galaxy Samurai Shodown VI Siren Star Wars: Bounty Hunter Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter Star Wars: Racer Revenge The King of Fighters 2000 The Mark of Kri The Warriors Twisted Metal: Black War of the Monsters Wild Arms 3   Nothing like bringing back those feelings that you had playing these classics on your PS2. Grab them and enjoy the nostalgia.
